Help Us Fight This Uphill Battle

Meet Ray....

Ray was a ambitious and loving young man who enjoyed people. He was outgoing and determined to live a bright future after he graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School. He had many things in his plans for success, one being that he was going to attend Grand Rapids Community College once the summer was over.

Ray had dreams to work in video production, and made music in his spare time. His work ethic was amazing. One day, a tragic incident occurred after Ray left a gas station, where two young men attempted to rob Ray, and ended up taking his life away during the process.

Ray did not have any enemies, and was a happy spirit. However, these two young men still did not want his light to shine despite the fact that he was a giving person. So they shot and killed Ray, ending all of his chances to making the world a better place.

Till this day, Ray's family and friends miss him dearly. They pray for the young men responsible for Ray's death and wish that young King's would stop killing each other in the community. This is why the Ray of Hope Foundation was started, so that communities can regain control and stop gun violence.

We ask that you support our cause and help us stop the gun violence in our communities. We accept donations from anyone who is able to give.
